These past few years, Chan Marshall (Cat Power) has done an incredible job of turning her career around. Long gone are the days when the painfully shy musician would stand with her back to the audience through some of her shows and sometimes not show up to the stage at all. Girl got herself some rehab and then had a successful tour for (in many opinions including my own) her best album to date "The Greatest".

Now that she's gotten herself clean and back on track (or really, on track for the first time) it's kind of weird to hear she is one of a handful of celebs teaming up with a vodka company to make a short film.

42 Below has recruited Chan along with James Franco, Sean Lennon, David Lynch, Larry Clark (KIDS) and Harmony Korine to direct short films about their dreams (I think). Check out either the trailer or the full short film (I'm not sure which) here:
