Salma Hayek does grace, style and beauty like no one else in the room. She introduces "Vicky, Christina Barcelona" as a nominee for Best Motion Picture Comedy. Sascha Baron Cohen tries to go for the funny but many of the celebrities in the audience feel like they're too cool to laugh. He presents the award for Best Motion Picture Comedy and it goes to Woody Allen's "Vicky, Christina Barcelona". The older dude with the pink-tinged glasses on stage is my favorite old man of the night, hands down.
Cameron Diaz and Mark Wahlberg present the nominees for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama and the award goes to second-time-of-the-night-winner Kate Winslet for her performance in "Revolutionary Road". Emma Thompson is the best, she always looks so happy for the winners. Angelina Jolie is probably going to put a hit out on Anne Hathaway and Kate Winslet. Kate forgot Angelina as one of her fellow nominees - oopsie!
Blake Lively and Rainn Wilson give the award for Best Television Drama Series and it goes to "Mad Men". As with most awards shows, the winners are starting to get cranky because they are told to shorten their acceptance speeches. Note to all of you: If you aren't going to write a short and sweet speech, for the love, next time get Tracy Morgan to do it for you.
