This is either terrible or wonderful news and I'm not sure what to think just yet. Fox has plans to adapt the amazing British comedy, Absolutely Fabulous for American TV.

Sure, it worked for The Office but the premise of that show is one that translates from one cubicle to the next regardless of which side of the pond you're on. The fashion industry, fashionable alcoholism and fashionable ignorance isn't as easily understood or accepted here. Also, we don't have those incredible accents. I find it very hard to believe anyone would be able to pull off this scene in a boring American accent:
