The Survivor Dude Survives the Emmys

Wow, how much do I not care about this category? Jeff Probst won for his work on Survivor. My dog just farted, that's about how I feel too.

Oooh, Mary Tyler More is onstage and is creeping me out while also looking better in a dress than me. Betty White makes me want to have milk and chocolate chip cookies. She is so cute I can't stand it. She looks like she knows how to cuddle.

30 Rock wins the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series and Tina Fey just keeps getting more and more attractive.

Speaking of attractive, Tom Selleck's dimples just made love to me through the television. He's presenting the last award of the night for Outstanding Drama Series. Mad Men takes the prize and Kenley from Project Runway probably thinks she had something to do with it.

Until next year - or tomorrow when I have better pictures of ugly outfits - keep it sleazy.

Maggie:

Why not call the Emmy's what it really was. An encore to the Democratic National Convention.
I mean, come on.
If there were a gathering that large, for any event OTHER THAN something political, where the only ones who felt comfortable speaking out did so in favor of McCain, the left would be all over it.
I really feel sorry for any conservatives in Hollywood. You know there have to be some but they are squelched, or dare I say it ... discriminated against and kept silent through extortion. What does that tell you about the values in that room? It means "feel free to exercise your right to free speech, so long as you agree with us."
NO THANK YOU.
BTW, I turned it off about 9:20pm. As soon as I heard that Sally Fields would be coming up I figured I'd already heard it all. And, I'm pretty sure they were ALL USING A TELEPROMPTER!!!!! INCLUDING OPRAH!!!
