Eventhough
Adaptation was painful for me to sit through (it may be my hate/hate relationship with Nicolas Cage's face), Charlie Kaufman will always be one of my all-time favorite screenwriters.
Being John Malkovich will forever make think of the time Cameron Diaz
dared to be ugly and the state of New Jersey was relentlessly made fun of.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind will keep me company every time I cling on to the memory of something long gone.
Kaufman has a new movie in the works - Synecdoche, New York, and it will be his first time directing.

As with all of his films (even Adaptation), I'm sure that this one will reveal heartbreaking truths to go along with comedic genius and confusing circumstances.
