My very first eBay purchase (and what proved that I am no good at eBaying) was an old VHS copy of the classic romantic comedy Teen Witch. I wanted it so badly, I spent $45 "winning" it but somehow I had forgotten that it gets played every year for at least a week, which is really how often I need to view it. I'm not sure what made it so wonderful - was it the random musical numbers? The incredibly creepy brother with the high-pitched voice? The tiny creepy lady from the Poltergeist movies? The ginger-headed protagonist? Oh what a rich movie filled with too many wonderful things to put into words! If you need proof, it's in the puddin':
There was a short period of my life when I really did want to have the magical powers of Louise Miller. She was able to make a voodoo doll of her mean teacher and have him make a fool of himself in front of their entire classroom, who wouldn't want that? She became the most popular girl and had the dreamy Brad Powell fall for her. But what ever happened to all of the actors and actresses who were destined for stardom after this film ended?
The beautiful redhead, Robyn Lively, has been in countless shows through the years. Most notably, she had a recurring roles on the shows, Twin Peaks and Chicago Hope. She can be seen currently (as in this Saturday) on CSI:New York. She is also the sister of Gossip Girl's Blake Lively!
Hunky (it was the late 80's) Dan Gauthier has made a name for himself in prime time soaps like Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place and daytime soaps such as All My Children and One Life to Live. So pretty.
Joshua Miller, who played Louise's bizarre younger brother and resembles the actor from Harold and Maude had a few television appearances in 1990, including one on The Wonder Years. He has also written and directed a semi-autobiograhical film entitled The Mao Game. Unfortunately I couldn't find a clip of the trailer, so you'll have to treat yourself to a brother Richie clip instead:
This will be hard to believe but he is actor Jason Patrick's brother! My goodness, what happened to the gene pool up in there? Perhaps he inherited too many of Honeymooner Jackie Gleason's facial features - he is his grandpa after all.

The beautiful Randa, who was Brad Powell's girlfriend originally, was played by Lisa Fuller -who happens to be Dan Gauthier's wife in real life. She had a brief stint on General Hospital and was even on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I wonder if maybe I should start doing a six degrees of Kevin Bacon in this Where are they Now category.
The nerdy but loveable bff and rapper extraordinaire, Polly, was played by Amanda Ingber. Surprisingly she hasn't been on tour with Justin Timberlake and Timbaland and her last acting credit was back in 1998 in a movie called Free Enterprise which starred Will and Grace's Eric McCormack.
The boy Polly lusts after and raps against, Rhet, was played by Noah Blake, who happens to be Robert Blake's son. His acting credits include some of my favorite shows from the late 80's and early 90's. You can't compete with, Mr. Belvedere, Growing Pains, Married with Children and The Wonder Years.
