Oh this is just too good to be true. The Sun is speculating that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz might be engaged AND pregnant. At a recent cd signing event for her new album, Out of My Head (Ya Ya), the better Simpson sister's ring finger was looking a bit more bedazzled.
We're really sorry to say this because we're sure of at least some backlash but...Pete Wentz is a sexy beast.
We don't care if you're not into the androgynous emo skater-punk look. There is something undeniably hot about him.
AND he and Ashlee are actually a really cute couple.
There, we said it! We hope she IS preggers and we hope they ARE engaged (not necessarily in that order). Our hopes are a little dashed though - we took some time to research and found this video on Pete's official blog (WARNING: the language isn't suitable for children or those who are too uptight to use the "F bomb").
We're not really sure what they're trying to say here. Are they joking? Is this where the people from The Sun got their information? It seems to me like they're trashing on Brit Brit (we all know about her love of Cheetos, which is really one of her best qualities). How do they get that Ashlee and Pete aren't just making fun of other big-headed celebrities? They call themselves A-hole #1 and #2 (which, we're sure we can think of many more A-holes ahead of them, but whatevs).
The Sun goes on to talk about how Papa Joe doesn't like Wentz very much, and has banned the Fall Out Boy bassist from their family holiday celebrations. Sounds to us like Wentz totally lucked out on this one. Who would want to have to spend time explaining various canned food products to Jessica Simpson? Or even worse, who would want to listen to Joe speak inappropriately about his daughter's body parts? We say, count your blesssings Pete.
