Reality Television What Have You Done to Me?

I'm sure we can all agree that "Reality Television" is just about as real as WWF wrestling, but for some reason I can't get enough of it. Next week is the season premier of Crowned and you better believe I will be glued to the television with phone in hand, ready to snark it up with whoever else's tube is tuned to the CW. I mean, look at this mother/daughter duo, they look like rejects from Flava of Love

Am I the only one who cringes when you hear the daughter say "Pretty"? All this aside, their voices are tight! Tenia and Angela have my vote for most talented (but definitely not best dressed).

With the season 3 finale of The Hills fastly approaching, our girl Lauren Conrad has announced, "I know that something happens in our lives, but I don’t know what they’re showing...Something very exciting happens in my life. I can’t tell you what, obviously, because it has to air, but it was a life-changing something." My guess is that she told her hairdresser to give her low-lights. Truth be told, I'm fairly sure she just ends up choosing to move to Paris instead of having on-again off-again friend sex with Brody Jenner. Don't they have any other friends?

I would like to take this opportunity to give a Standing O to someone I never thought I would praise. Jennifer Love Hewitt, I salute you and your stance against weight-mongers. You aren't fat, in fact your body looks annoyingly slammin' in those Hanes bra commercials. With this public outrage against people calling her fat after some unflattering pictures of her in a bikini surfaced, I can almost excuse all of those terrible facial expressions she made throughout her years on Party of Tears. You get three snaps up in Z formation Ms. Love Hewitt.

Other random acts of awesomeness can be seen here.

I ended up catching the first episode of this. I thinks it's funny how they believed they were supposed to act instead of just being. I haven't caught the 2nd episode yet but with this writer's strike seeming semi-permanent, i'll probably be tuning in. This won't come on same time as American Gladiators will it?
