It's almost time for me to break out the elastic waisted pants, prep my belly for mashed potatoes and stuffing, throw the scale out the window and fall asleep on the couch with the sound of football blaring from the T.V. in the next room. I simply cannot wait.

There are so many wonderful things that I love about the holidays but one of my favorites is the Scary Santa Photo Gallery. Screaming babies don't normally make me think of a good time, but pictures of babies screaming from the laps of mall Santas bring hours of laughter. It's not just the look on the tots' faces, the Santas mugs are worth a thousand words as well. Some of my favorites?

In celebrity news, Nicole Richie has a lot to be thankful for this year since she is preggers with Joel Madden's baby. This last weekend Paris Hilton and a few others threw Nicole an "Oz" themed baby shower. I'm assuming it was The Wizard of Oz and not the violent HBO prison drama, Oz, although, as we saw in last week's blog, the baby momma is familiar with the interiors of a cell.
