Guitar Legend

Well I'm back from my food-coma of a Thanksgiving holiday filled with football, a lighthearted movie and hours upon hours of Guitar Hero. If you've never tried Guitar Hero, I suggest that you either run out to a store to purchase it immediately or that you make friends with someone who not only owns it, but who won't mind your presence 24/7. My younger siblings and I took turns pretending to be rock Gods and Goddesses to the tunes of Heart, Rage Against the Machine, Reverend Horton Heat and the Allman Brothers. My fingers were calloused over by the end of the weekend, I can't wait to trick out my guitar like this dude:

Yes, those are REAL flames I totally want to party with him. I also want to party with a band called The Guitar Zeros, who were able to pimp out their guitar controllers and turn them into actual instruments. This is when geekdom turns into all out coolness.

Speaking of cool geekdom one of my very favorite filmmakers, John Waters, is making a few pit stops with his Christmas variety show. I can only imagine what this will end up looking like, except that it's EXACTLY the type of holiday program I'd be interested in.

Whats up people!!!???

I just ran into this page while doing a random google image search and I was totally blown away. That is me in that picture! I admit I'm a bit of a pyro and I'm just handy enough with tools to get myself in trouble. If you're really interested in knowing how I made that guitar, check out my post on a gaming forum that details how I made it and a few of my other guitars:

By the way, if you really want to party with me, send me a PM. I live in Boston (just don't wear anything flammable!)
